Why a photo booth is worth it
Every wedding has guests who don't dance, guests who don't know many people, and stretches of time when nothing is happening for them. A photo booth fills those gaps. It gives people a reason to grab their friends, try on a ridiculous hat and laugh together. And unlike a dance floor, it leaves you with something: dozens or even hundreds of candid, goofy, joyful photos of the people you love, taken by your guests themselves.
How our photo booth works
Guests step up, follow the on-screen prompts and pose. The booth uses high-quality cameras and lighting, so the photos look professional without a dedicated photographer. Our booth includes:
- Unlimited sessions for the whole event. There's no cap on photos.
- Instant prints so guests take a keepsake home that night.
- A scrapbook copy for you. A second print of every strip can go into an album, and guests love writing notes beside their photos. It doubles as a guest book.
- Digital copies that guests can share to social media, plus online downloads after the event so you can print extras.
- A big selection of props and hats, themed to your event when you want.
Pricing
Photo booth packages are $600 on Sundays, $800 on Fridays and $1,000 on Saturdays, and $100 off when you book with a DJ package. If you're also adding uplighting and a wedding DJ, our DJ cost guide shows sample totals.
Where to put the booth
Placement makes a big difference to how much the booth gets used. The best spot is visible from the dance floor and bar but not in the way, close enough that guests drift over between songs and far enough that the line doesn't block traffic. We also need a standard power outlet and a little space for the line and the props table. Tell us your floor plan and we'll suggest a spot. If your venue has a coordinator, we'll work with them.
Props, themes and personal touches
Props are where the personality comes in. We bring a wide selection of hats, glasses and signs, and we can theme them to your event: a tropical theme for a beach wedding, school colors for a graduation, decades props for a milestone birthday. Ask about personalized items. A custom print layout with your names and date makes every strip a souvenir of your day.
Photo booth etiquette tips for hosts
- Open it during cocktail hour if your guests will be waiting while you take photos. It gives them something fun to do.
- Have your MC announce it once or twice. Our MC will remind guests where it is and that it's unlimited.
- Visit it yourselves. Some of the best photos of the night are the couple with the grandparents, or the whole wedding party squeezed into one frame.
- Plan for the scrapbook. Put out pens and someone friendly to remind guests to leave a note.
Not just weddings
Photo booths are a hit at corporate events and private parties, where they break the ice between guests who don't know each other, and at quinceañeras and sweet sixteens, where they're often the busiest spot in the room.
Book the booth
We're based in Miami and serve all of South Florida. We've been entertaining at events since 1997, and we're insured, with a venue COI available on request. Call or text (561) 464-7203 or request a quote.
Photo booth etiquette and tips for hosts
A photo booth works best when guests know it's there and feel invited to use it. A few simple ideas help:
- Announce it. We can mention the photo booth during the reception, especially after dinner when guests are ready for something fun.
- Place it near the action. A booth close to the dance floor or bar gets more use than one tucked into a corner.
- Choose props that fit your crowd. Funny props are great for most groups. For a more formal event, a few elegant props or none at all can work better.
- Ask about the print design. If you'd like your names or date on the prints, ask when you book.
- Plan the scrapbook. If you'd like guests to leave a copy of their photos with a note, place a pen and the album nearby, and ask someone to keep an eye on it.
- Think about timing. The booth is busiest after dinner and during dancing. Opening it during cocktail hour gives guests more chances to use it.
A photo booth is $600, $800 or $1,000 depending on the package, with $100 off when booked with a DJ package.
